Beauty begins from the inside out, and my mission in life has always been to make women not just look great, but feel great. Born in Suriname, I have always had a keen eye for fashion and a way of effortlessly inspiring others. My first foray into business was back home, co-founding a boutique alongside my mother that in only a few short years became a Surinamese staple for elegant evening gowns. The shop partnered with the Miss Suriname pageant organization, and ny coaching and styling career began with the ladies on that same runway.
This is where I learned the importance of making sure women didn’t just look great on the runway, but felt great. I wasn’t just styling the contestants, I was actively speaking with them, inspiring them to step onto that runway with a fresh glow from the inside out that began at the heart. I’ve spent years honing my craft with Miss Suriname contestants and saw the massive difference that personal development coaching and styling could have on women, and I was motivated to expand my business by seeing the incredible effect that these two things together could have not just on the runway, but in these women’s lives.
When I moved to the States, I fully dove into the pursuit of my career as a life and style consultant, working with hundreds of women to help elevate not just their style, but their lifestyles. My clients have included women from all walks of life – moms, business owners, brides-to-be, successful Miss Florida contestants to name a few. I’m now the proud business owner of two thriving businesses, Soirees with Grace, a concierge-style event planning company that provides you with all the bridal needs: personal styling and event planning. Both businesses are focused on helping women create a life that feels as good as it looks and to make confidence and sophistication affordable and achievable.
